DAY 1: Friday, February 16th: Delhi

Arrive at New Delhi in the afternoon. Check-in at the hotel. Evening is yours to relax.

Night 1 in Delhi.

 

​DAY 2: Saturday, February 17th: Delhi

Sight see in Delhi: Humayun’s Tomb, Lotus Temple, Qutab Minar, Lodhi Gardens.

Night 2 in Delhi.

 

​DAY 3: Sunday, February 18th: Agra

Take morning train to Agra. (Gatimaam Exp. 12050, Nizammudin-Agra Cantt, 8:10 am to 9:50 am). Check-in at the hotel. Today we will witness the biggest testament of love ever built: The Taj Mahal. We will also visit the Agra Fort.

Night 3 in Agra.

 

DAY 4: Monday, February 19th: Jaipur

Take the morning train to Jaipur. (Marudhar Exp. 14853, Agra Fort-Jaipur, 6:35 am to 12:05 pm)

Check-in at the hotel. Visit the Street markets in the Old city. In the evening enjoy an authentic regional meal.

Night in 4 Jaipur.

 

DAY 5: Tuesday, February 20th: Jaipur

Visit the legendary Amer Fort soaking in the royal splendor. See the Jantar Mantar. Evening will be spend wandering thru the Old City streets.

Night 5 in Jaipur.

 

DAY 6: Wednesday, February 21st: Jodhpur

Take the early morning train to Jodhpur. (Superfast Exp. 22478, Jaipur-Jodhpur, 6:00 am to 10:40 am)

Check-in at the hotel. Visit the Meherangarh Fort and enjoy the splendid view of the Blue city below. Go to Jaswant Thada on the way. In the evening attend a cooking class and enjoy the meal you cooked.

Night 6 in Jodhpur.

 

Day 7: Thursday, February 22nd: Jodhpur

Morning: Take a half day trip to Bishnoi Village. Here we will get to see the local craftsman and artisans at work in their natural environment. Potters, Block printing etc. Evening: Explore the old city. Discover the unique stepwell known as Toorji ka Jhalra in the old city, hidden between the narrow, winding streets and historic structures. Walk through the local Sadar Market.

Take an overnight train to Jaisalmer. (Jodhpur Jaisalmer Exp. 14810, 11:00 pm to 6:00 am).

Night 7 on the train.

Note: Trains and flights are subject to availability. In case of unavailability, alternate equivalent transportation shall be provided. 

DAY 8: Friday, February 23rd: Jaisalmer

Early check-in at the hotel. Jaisalmer is known as the Golden city. It lies in the heart of the Thar Desert and is completely built in yellow sandstone. Spend this day in the Jaisalmer fort city, which has the palace, several Jain temples and residences. In the evening, head for a desert safari to Sam Sand dunes. Camp the night in tents.

Night 8 at Sam Sand dunes.

 

Day 9: Saturday, February 24th: Jaisalmer

Spend the first part of the day wandering through the city visiting various monuments: Patwon ki haweli, Raja ki Haveli.Evening is yours to explore the city. 

Night 9 in Jaisalmer.

 

Day 10: Sunday, February 25th: Jaisalmer-Jodhpur-Udaipur

Take the early morning train to Jodhpur. (Jaisalmer Express 14809, 6:45 am to 1:00 pm). Have lunch in Jodhpur. Post lunch set by road to Udaipur. (Jodhpur-Udaipur, 250 Kms, 5 hours by road). Check-in at the hotel.

Night 10 in Udaipur.

 

Day 11: Monday, February 26th: Udaipur

Sightsee in the city of Udaipur. Visit to City palace (one of the few Palaces where the royalty still reside), Crystal Palace, Hathi Pol Market, Shilpagram, Lake Palace Road market.

Night 11 in Udaipur.

 

Day 12: Tuesday, February 27th: Udaipur-Varanasi

Morning in Udaipur. Visit the Maldas Street which is the hub of cloth merchants. Afternoon flight to Varanasi via Delhi. Udaipur (Indigo 6E 747, 2:10 pm – 7:30 pm). Check-in at the hotel in Varanasi.

Night 12 in Varanasi.

 

Day 13: Wednesday, February 28th: Varanasi

Visit to Sarnath. Aarti at Ashwamedh ghat at 6pm, Sankatmochan temple, boat cruise on the Ganges. Varanasi is famous for the Banarasi silk. Visit to a silk factory.

Night 13 in Varanasi.

 

Day 14: Thursday, March 1st: Delhi

Morning flight to Delhi. (Indigo 6E 3175 Varanasi 10:30 am to Delhi 12:25 pm)

Check-in at the hotel. Visit Old Delhi: Jama Masjid and Spice Market. Head to a resort on the outskirts of Delhi.

Night 14 at the Resort.

 

Day 15: Friday, March 2nd: Delhi

Enjoy the festival of colors, Holi. After lunch, head to Delhi for overnight stay.

 

Day 16: Saturday, March 3rd: Delhi-USA

Depart for home.
